I am fortunate to work for sanofi-aventis a company who are the proud sponsors of 4 What Matters. This summer for the first time a group of my sanofi colleagues and myself will be raising money (that's me) and riding across the country (that's not me) to raise money for a charity that matters to us!! This means that all money that I raise goes to the charity of my choice - what matters to me thus the name 4 what matters!
This spring I lost an old friend to a long stoic battle with brain cancer. He touched the lives of many through his laughter, smile and forever positive attitude. I am sure there is not a day that goes by where so many people have some little smile remembering the many times with our good friend Pablo!! There are many charities that I could donate to - but this year - "4 WHAT MATTERS" to me is not forgetting the ultimate fight that our friend endured and for those that are still fighting and those with the future battle. My goal is to raise $2000 for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada in honour of Chad living his life to the fullest!!
